Looking for You is inspired by trails, maps, and weathered landscapes - an imagining of Penelope tracing Odysseus’s ten year attempt to return home - weaving imagined paths across sea and land, whilst utterly in the dark about where he might be. The painting carries echoes of old maps and parchment, marked by longing, uncertainty, dead-ends and the restless search of a mind that can only guess.
